The Vertu MINI CHALLENGE can today announce that it has agreed a new partnership with Scorpion Exhausts ahead of the 2024 season.<\/p>\n
Scorpion has been a key technical partner of the highly competitive one-make series across the past decade, with all cars running with specialist exhaust systems developed in-house and hand-built by a specialist team at Scorpion\u2019s Derbyshire HQ.<\/p>\n
The company first started working alongside the MINI CHALLENGE back in 2014, designing a new bespoke exhaust system for the F56 model that was introduced the following year and which continues to compete in the headline JCW class to this day.\u00a0<\/p>\n
A new manifold exhaust system was then developed for the Cooper class cars in the MINI CHALLENGE Trophy, and introduced back in 2021.<\/p>\n
Adopting the same ‘Best of British’ mantra as the MINI CHALLENGE, Scorpion has used its involvement with the series to help drive forward the development of new solutions that are now used by MINI drivers across the UK – enabling them to benefit from the transfer of technology from the race track to the road.<\/p>\n
As well as continuing in the role of technical partner, Scorpion will also continue to have a presence on cars across the JCW, JCW Sport and Cooper classes during the year ahead.<\/p>\n
